I captured the lion drinking water in Serengeti after hours of waiting in silence. It was mid-afternoon, the light was soft, and the lion trusted our distance. An Elephant in Ngorongoro was looking for something—its body low, eyes sharp—and I had only seconds to frame that intensity. I always aim to respect the animals space and let their wildness unfold naturally, using a zoom lens (70–300mm) to keep a respectful distance.
Patience and respect guide every wildlife shot I take.
